Gareth has lived in the North West of England for 46 years and currently reside on Rivington Drive in Burscough. His deep connection to the region has shaped his commitment to preserving our community’s character and values. As chairman of the Skelmersdale Model Aircraft Club, he has spent decades maintaining over 50 acres of green belt land, which ensures it remains a vibrant, accessible space for local residents. Having worked in education for 20 years, helping track student progress and support learning outcomes, now Gareth is a senior software developer for a major food company where he brings analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to the table, skills which are essential in public service.
